Look who-hoo had a sleepover this morning. One of our local Tawny Frog-Mouth's. So cute, pretending to be a branch of the new concrete post. The post was cast using corrugated iron, curled around.
'Here' is for chat about all things stitching, is a place to link to my various other sites, and somewhere to show and tell and never shut up.

I Hadn't Realised This Was Out There!
Have a look at the article about my quilt and I, here at Intro Craft. I found it via l'uccello's, where I'll be teaching from next month if all goes well (didn't realise it was published yet!). Can't wait for the classes actually, it's been something missing in my life! I miss you gals.
Go and check out Kim's shop if you're at all interested in gorgeous vintage habedashary and desperately scrummy sewers bling!

Sadie's New Doll's Quilt
My five year old grand-daughter thought we should 'organise some sewing' when she came to stay. Which means that I, under her direction, make something for her dolls. Parts of this quilt I have had, done and waiting (some nine-patches and the appliqued Dresden Plate) for years. Sadie chose what and where, pretty well. She seems to choose well too, and could see if something was right or not. Good work Grandma! I mean Sadie.

New Vest Project
Here in my version, the colours are maybe not quite 100% right... but then again I tried it with a brighter blue and didn't like it. So waddya gonna do huh? I'm hoping the template is good so that I can apply other designs and have a plethera of Fair Isle vests. It's a Vogue pattern, available at Ravelry.
P.S. The flash changes the colours a bit. The grey is quite dark and strong, the blue is less evident, the pink is more vibrant, the brown virtually not noticable and the orange sings.
