Sadie's New Doll's Quilt

My five year old grand-daughter thought we should 'organise some sewing' when she came to stay. Which means that I, under her direction, make something for her dolls. Parts of this quilt I have had, done and waiting (some nine-patches and the appliqued Dresden Plate) for years. Sadie chose what and where, pretty well. She seems to choose well too, and could see if something was right or not. Good work Grandma! I mean Sadie.

New Vest Project

Here in my version, the colours are maybe not quite 100% right... but then again I tried it with a brighter blue and didn't like it. So waddya gonna do huh? I'm hoping the template is good so that I can apply other designs and have a plethera of Fair Isle vests. It's a Vogue pattern, available at Ravelry.

P.S. The flash changes the colours a bit. The grey is quite dark and strong, the blue is less evident, the pink is more vibrant, the brown virtually not noticable and the orange sings.

My Love Is Clever Indeed!

This is his handiwork! So good and boopy and nice to boot!

Vintage Aran Textured Poncho

This is the front. Next time I'll add a bit of patterning at the side plain bits. And do a few other alterations. Below is the side view. Look here for more information. I'm off to start a new knitting project and can't talk. Way too excited!

Oh, and the colour is green. This, strangely, is exactly the colour of other wool by Jaggerspun but not the Poncho.

Foxy La

I bought this actually I had it made for my Fella for Christmas. He added the goggles and the flowers seemed right too. Less frightening for the little ones.
