THANKYOU! THANKYOU! THANKYOU!

To all of my dear friends who have been coming to my classes for a little while or a long (long, long, long) while, thankyou for your friendship, love and loyalty. We've shared a lot over the years and I know I've found my way through thick and thin with your support and the confidence I've found in your company. Hope the earth moved for you too.
Sniff! I'll miss you. I'll think of you while I'm relaxing down the beach or sleeping in and not washing the floor even once a month. And when at last I have the itch that only you can scratch, I'll ring up and start again, with renewed interest and new stuff. I promise!
You are special!

P.S. The Rabbit Cushion if for those who asked. More details here, and the saga is here. For what it's worth.
P.P.S. And I will get back to posting! I WILL!

I can't imagine that I'll ever make it to one of your classes, since I live on the other side of the world, but I enjoy stopping here every now and then to see what wonderful beautiful thing you've created. Thanks for sharing the story of the rabbit coat, and the thimble.

Robyne thank you for the coat story and the inspiration! I have a rabbit coat I bought at Vinnies years ago to make a teddy bear, had a friend making them and she talked me into it - whatever possessed me? - but a cushion would be truly decadent

Thanks gals! The cushion really is exotic and decadent. I have another one on the go, not metallic and not so ancient-looking ( Go to: http://bobbyscrazyquilt.blogspot.com/2006/04/future-cushion-top.html )... I figured, somehow, I'd dye the fur a rich, hot-pink or something?? Still warm, rather than fluro, but make it a bit modern... ish? Hmmm... Might actually DO it sometime!
Glad you liked my story! Ha ha ha!

Oh, and I might have to MAKE a bobble-fringe because the cotton one I have didn't seem to dye well. Maybe I need a higher concentration of colour. It gets so expensive, but then who cares? It's for a good cause.
